KMSK Deinze enters into a strategic partnership with Digital Entertainment Asset

KMSK Deinze, a soccer club with a nearly hundred-year long history belonging to the second division in the Belgian Pro League, has entered into an agreement with Digital Entertainment Asset (DEA), a Singapore-based cryptocurrency company aiming to revolutionize the entertainment sector.

As a part of the Web3 initiative, KMSK Deinze will be able to take advantage of new sponsorship and monetization opportunities. The strategic partnership will result in exclusive non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and Play-to-Earn (P2E) opportunities for the KMSK Deinze fan base and the broader sports and crypto communities.

The Belgian soccer club will participate in DEA’s P2E gaming platform as a guild. Additionally, DEA will offer its blockchain expertise to create the team’s fan tokens and to launch Watch-to-Earn incentives for its fan base.

Naohito Yoshida, DEA’s CEO, commented on the newly-penned partnership with KMISK Deinze:

“I respect KMSK Deinze, a soccer club with a long history, for their bold challenge in the Web3 space. I am convinced that building an economic zone using Play to Earn will be a sustainable and effective approach to promoting sports culture. We look forward to working with Deinze to set a great precedent.

ACA Football Partners (ACAFP), a Singaporean multi-club ownership football company and the owner of KMSK Deinze, aims to accelerate the development of European football across the globe and pursue cutting-edge technology to do so.

Hiroyuki Ono, CEO of ACAFP and Vice Chairman of the Board of KMSK Deinze, talks about the collaboration between the Belgian soccer club and DEA:

“When we thought about contributing to the community through football as a member of the community, we wanted to release the potential of football following the most cutting-edge trend of the times. We endorsed the mission of DEA, which advocates social contribution through GameFi.”

DEA hopes that the strategic sponsorship with KMSK Deinze will help bring more interest to its rapidly growing Web3 ecosystem and its native DEAPcoin (DEP) token.

The price of DEP increased by more than 4.5% in the last 24 hours and is changing hands at $0.0316 at press time.
