SuperOne partners with the world’s leading football media and licensing companies
SuperOne, the world’s first Swipe-to-Earn metaverse projects, announced on Thursday a pair of high-profile partnerships that are bound to elevate SuperOne as one of the premier gamified communities for sports and entertainment fans around the world.
Thanks to the partnership with Footballco, the world’s largest football-focused media company, SuperOne will be able to tap into a global community of more than 640 million football fans. Footballco is a London-headquartered company employing over 300 content creators, writers, strategic thinkers, designers, editors, and producers that focus on football content across all platforms, generating over 1 billion video views each month.
Footballco’s VP of Global Football Partnership, Andy Jackson, had this to say about the collaboration with SuperOne:
“We are delighted to work with SuperOne to help launch their exciting offering to football fans worldwide. We share a common goal of providing football fans with memorable and rewarding digital experiences.”
As a part of the initial marketing push, SuperOne will be the exclusive partner of the GOAL50, the world’s leading fan-voted awards event held in 8 different languages.
To complement its collaboration with Footballco, SuperOne entered into an agreement with FIFPRO, a 65,000-strong football trade union. FIFPRO represents professional footballers and makes sure the football industry as a whole is held to the highest possible standards. FIFPRO controls the largest package of name, image, and likeness of active football players in the world, and allows for the licensing information to be used in the digital entertainment space.
FIFPRO’s Commercial Director, Andrew Orsatti, commented on the SuperOne partnership:
“We’re pleased to welcome SuperOne to the FIFPRO family in an innovative partnership that champions the rights of professional players worldwide. We’ve combined the passion of football fans with brain-twisting trivia, in a blood-pumping race against the clock, with great prizes on offer.”
Andreas Christensen, Techowner and Founder of SuperOne, said in a statement that the partnership between SuperOne, Footballco, and FIFPRO, which he refers to as the “trinity of football collaboration,” will “disrupt the gaming industry.”
Launched globally in 2019, SuperOne is a developer of a popular fandom trivia game that allows users to respond to various questions from the world of sports and entertainment. The first game to be released by SuperOne follows the popular Battle Royale structure, which means that players compete against each other. The last player standing wins the game and prizes.
