A cross-chain smart contract wallet like Blocto provides a seamless user experience where users can easily access dApps, crypto, and NFT assets. With funding from investors such as Mark Cuban, Animoca Brands, and 500 Global, portto, the company behind Blocto, is spearheading the effort to bridge the blockchain experience between companies and users.
With “Yahoo Taiwan NFT Store,” all NFT creators are officially curated and approved by Yahoo Taiwan, providing a reputable trading platform with three main focuses:
- Users can directly purchase with fiat money through the fiat payment gateway. In the near future, more fiat payment methods will be offered, but initially, payment by credit card will be available;
- NFT products can be purchased at an affordable price;
- NFTs with empowering features: holders of the “Yahoo Taiwan NFT Store” select NFTs have access to exclusive rewards through Yahoo Taiwan’s points program and preferential purchasing during limited offers and NFT sales.
CEO Hsuan Lee stated that Blocto has extensive experience working with large enterprises to develop deep blockchain solutions, such as Vault by CNN, MotoGP Ignition, and Yahoo Taiwan. He adds that Blocto, with its expertise in blockchain technology, is developing this platform with Yahoo Taiwan so that everyone can easily own and collect NFTs, like ‘A-Hoo’ as easily as shopping on any e-Commerce site.
A-Hoo, the official mascot of Yahoo Taiwan, appears prominently on branded products and shipping crates across the region in Yahoo’s inaugural digital collection on Yahoo Taiwan’s NFT Store. Blocto’s NFT marketplace BloctoBay will be the source for accessing the company’s ‘A-Hoo’ NFT collection.
In a statement, Chen-Te Lin, VP of Taiwan products and e-commerce at Yahoo, said the partnership will make NFTs available to everyone in the region and help creators venture into the booming segment of digital collectibles. With this in mind, Yahoo Taiwan is seeking to create an NFT marketplace that is competitive, diverse, and partnered with local companies and creators. Blocto’s BLT token has seen notable price gains over the last week. According to our data, BLT changed hands at $0.566, an increase of over 30% over the previous seven days.
