Writer, technologist, and Internet pioneer David H. Holtzman joins Naoris Protocol

Naoris Protocol, a blockchain company looking to turn each connected device into a trusted validator node, has announced David H. Holtzman is joining the team in an advisory role. Holtzman will advise Naoris on a wide range of topics, including security, marketing, and strategy.

During his illustrious career, Holtzman worked in a number of different fields, offering his expertise in cryptography and computer security. In the late 1990s, Holtzman oversaw the skyrocketing of internet domains from 500,000 to more than 20 million as CTO of Network Solution.

Before joining Network Solutions, Holtzman ran a major research group at Booz-Allen & Hamilton as a Cheif Scientist at IBM. The 66-year-old author and security specialist was also involved in the presidential bid of Senator Evan Bayh as the campaign’s senior cybersecurity advisor.

In addition, Holtzman also worked as a cryptographer for the US Naval Security Group and for the National Security Agency.

Throughout his career, Holtzman has been a champion of privacy in the digital space and has repeatedly advocated for individuals to take their privacy into their own hands. He published two books on the topic, titled Privacy Lost: How Technology is Endangering Your Privacy and How to Survive Identity Theft.

For the better part of the past decade, Holtzman has been involved with different blockchain projects, offering his rich experience in cryptography and the building of secure decentralized systems.

Holtzman commented on his decision to join Naoris in a statement:

“Naoris Protocol has the right ideas.  In my many decades of experience working with disruptive innovators, I’ve come to the conclusion that a company’s most valuable differentiator is the strength of its underlying foundational principles and values. Naoris Protocol has started from a good place and their technology directly aligns with their beliefs. The value of networked decentralization cannot be overemphasized and their novel approach of applying that to security validation is an important one that is likely to be a real game changer.”

David Carvalho, CEO, and Founder of Naoris Protocol, stated:

“We are so incredibly blessed to be working with David Holtzman as an advisor to the project, we wouldn’t have the internet as we know it today without him and we`re humbled to be splicing together new and highly impactful use cases and ideas with David. This is an exciting, and critical time for Naoris Protocol as we strive to bring the best and most visionary from Web2 and Web3 together to scale our Decentralized CyberSecurity Mesh approach.”

Carvalho added that the Naoris team feels “great” about Holtzman joining the advisory board.
