CoinCheckup Update: A Cleaner Experience, Better Navigation, and Performance Improvements

We’ve rolled out a fairly large batch of updates across CoinCheckup, covering everything from navigation and mobile usability to prediction pages and behind-the-scenes performance work.

Some of these changes are immediately visible, while others are laying the groundwork for bigger technical improvements coming next.

A cleaner, more consistent CoinCheckup

We’ve made a number of design and UX improvements across the site, with a particular focus on the homepage, mobile navigation, coin pages, and prediction tools.

On desktop, the homepage layout and navigation have been refined with improved spacing, alignment, search presentation, and more consistent page structure.

The homepage asset table also received some attention. Quick filters such as All Coins, Top Gainers, Top Losers, Trending, and Recently Added are now easier to use, while filter dropdowns and asset status labels have been cleaned up.

Better mobile navigation

Horizontal selectors can be awkward on smaller screens, so we’ve improved their behavior throughout the site.

Tabs, filters, and date-range selectors now automatically scroll to keep the currently selected option centered and visible. We’ve also removed hover effects from mobile elements where they didn’t make sense.

The result should be a smoother experience when moving between tabs and filters on a phone.

Improved coin pages

Coin detail pages have received several smaller design improvements, particularly around the live-data section, mobile coin header, and tabbed data areas.

These sections are now easier to navigate on smaller screens and use more consistent spacing as well as styling.

We also fixed an issue where very long coin names could break parts of the page layout.

Smarter sidebar navigation

We fixed an annoying navigation issue on desktop.

Previously, if you were viewing a specific section of a coin page and selected another asset from the sidebar, you could be sent back to that asset’s overview page.

Now CoinCheckup keeps you in the same section.

For example:

Bitcoin Analysis → Ethereum Analysis

instead of:

Bitcoin Analysis → Ethereum Overview

It’s a small change, but it makes comparing multiple assets much faster.

Prediction pages are easier to understand

We’ve also updated our crypto prediction pages both visually and functionally.

Prediction data rows now provide clearer explanations for indicators such as RSI, volatility, and moving averages, making it easier to understand what the numbers actually mean.

The long-term prediction table has also been updated. Instead of the previous Buy/Short action, users can now choose Set Alert to keep track of price levels they’re interested in.

The related labels, tooltips, and calls to action have also been updated across our supported languages.

Performance work behind the scenes

Not every update is something you can see.

A significant part of this release involved code cleanup and optimization designed to make CoinCheckup easier to maintain and improve and to make the whole page snappier.

We’ve also been preparing the codebase for an upgrade to Next.js 16.3. This technical work helps us modernize the platform and gives us a stronger foundation for future performance improvements and new features.

More improvements on the way

This update combines lots of smaller changes rather than one big new feature, but together they make CoinCheckup noticeably cleaner and easier to use.

We’ll continue refining the interface, improving performance, and making the tools you use every day simpler and more useful.
