Ankr enters strategis partnership with the Sui blockchain

One of the world’s biggest Web3 infrastructure providers, Ankr, has announced a strategic partnership with Sui blockchain. This collaboration means Ankr is now one of the first RPC (Remote Procedure Call) providers to the Sui blockchain, which is designed to allow developers and creators to offer exceptional Web3 experiences to the next billion users.

The Sui blockchain is basically a permissionless Layer-1 blockchain that supports the development of a wide array of decentralized applications (dApps). It is horizontally scalable and provides low-cost solutions. By enlisting Ankr as an RPC provider, Sui blockchain will enable developers to build scalable and safe DApps that are easily upgradable too.

Premium RPCs and an Exceptional Layer-1 Blockchain

Sui blockchain is a relatively new blockchain, but its potential is limitless. Thanks to the new partnership with Ankr, developers can experience the uniqueness of Sui and what it offers. They will be able to access the Sui Testnet community, make request calls and get information that is in tandem with what they would get if they ran a full node themselves.

Ankr is already well-known in the Web3 universe. Its RPC connection to Sui will open up the blockchain to many developers and creators. It will primarily enable Web3 developers and decentralized apps to communicate with Sui blockchain with ease.

Speaking about the new partnership, Ankr’s Head of Product, Josh Neuroth, said:

“Sui’s new technology and Move-based development, paired with Ankr’s easy connection to the blockchain, will create a building environment that is easy and intuitive enough to open the doors of to a growing set of new developers and projects. We are very excited to support Sui so Web3 developers can build faster on what is shaping up to be a promising new ecosystem.”

Reliable Blockchain Router

Like similar products, Ankr’s Sui Testnet RPC acts as a blockchain router or messenger. It connects a handful of things to the Sui blockchain, including wallets, dApps, and command-line interfaces. It relays on-chain information across Sui nodes, associated dApps, as well as end-users. Ultimately, it helps to execute such tasks as transactions, fetching ownership information, populating wallet balances and more.

A unique Layer-1 blockchain, Sui utilizes a proof-of-stake mechanism and the Move programming language. It offers high throughput as well as low latency. It can practically process more than 120,000 transactions per second. Already, Sui has attracted a variety of projects, including DeFi protocols, DEXs, NFT projects, Launchpads, wallets, social platforms, and more.

What to Expect Next

Sui mainnet is expected to go live in the not-so-distant future. Once that happens, Ankr will add support for it, enabling Web3 developers to streamline building and achieve better results in less time. Ankr is already reputed for providing high-performance and time-tested RPC node infrastructure that is capable of handling any request load. Obviously, it will significantly expand Sui Blockchain’s public RPC resources.

Another interesting thing to know is that Ankr is committed to promoting the global Sui network. It provides a geo-distributed and decentralized Sui RPC with several independent blockchain nodes running in different countries. This ensures guaranteed connection as well as low latency.

Following the Ankr-Sui partnership announcement, Ankr is now the choice RPC provider of over 39 blockchains and testnets. Notable networks in its portfolio include Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Chain, Solana, and Avalanche. RPCs basically allow different applications to interact with a blockchain.
